Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a psychological approach based on scientific principles and which research has shown to be effective for a wide range of problems. The client and therapist work together to identify and understand problems in terms of the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviour. The therapy is inherently empowering in nature, the outcome focussing on specific psychological and practical skills, which will enable the client to tackle their problems using their own resources.

CBT Group Therapy at the Hyde Counselling Practice provides this focussed goal orientated approach within a confidential environment. This group is suitable for people who are suffering from anxiety, work related stress, low mood or who are feeling a general dissatisfaction with life. Its aim is to improve overall fulfilment and functioning in life. Working as a cohesive group will provide you with personal growth in a structured, supervised and cost effective way. You will learn that you are not alone in experiencing issues and you can discover and test solutions within a safe environment. This group therapy will allow you to learn from the experience of others and better understand how others view the world and interact with people.

CBT Group Therapy at Hyde Counselling Practice offers:

- Groups of no more than 4 people
- Weekly meetings
- A highly confidential and relaxed setting
- 90 minute sessions (with a short break)
